Hello, My name is Josh Figueroa and welcome to my online art portfolio. I graduated from the Art Center College of Design located in Pasadena California with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration in 2001. I knew that I wanted to be an artist ever since reading 2 books as a child. The first is a children's book entitled "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". The second was a story-line printed in single issue format in the Daredevil comic which was later collected as a graphic novel entitled "Daredevil : Born Again". These two titles proved pivotal in my development as an artist because I realized that you could tell a story about anything and were only limited by your ability to draw and your imagination.
Since then I have been working as a freelance illustrator designing characters, creating illustrations & designing logos for a variety of clients. My passion is in comics and children's books and I am currently working on a comic.
